As the Director of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI), Monarose Ryan brings a wealth of experience and a unique perspective to her role. As a biracial woman and first-generation American, her approach to DEI is both intrinsic and informed, enabling her to navigate and advocate for these principles with authenticity and insight.A dynamic blend of strategic communications, innovative marketing, and brand leadership characterizes Monarose’s career. Notably, she served as the Director of Communications for Pyxera Global, a non-profit organization based in Washington, D.C., that facilitates partnerships between the public, private, and social sectors to address global challenges.Having lived in diverse locations such as California, Minnesota, Texas, Mexico, and India, her background has enriched her with a strong dedication to ensuring that diversity and inclusivity are embedded in the fabric of professional and communal spaces, going beyond just buzzwords.Settled in Richmond, VA, Monarose lives in a cozy cabin in the woods. She loves cupcakes, coffee, and craft beer, is passionately curious, and always looks forward to and enjoys new experiences.
