Topic: Marketing in an Economic Downturn
With the economic impacts of COVID-19 at the forefront of everyone’s mind, marketers will need to adapt in 3 key areas:
- Operate with leaner teams: keep core staff tight to keep overhead costs low and hire specialists when needed
- Adjust marketing strategies: adjust budgets, tactics, and messaging to meet changing purchasing behaviors
- Think long term: repositioning for recovery and considering possible long-term shifts in consumers’ values and attitudes
No one knows what the future holds and we will need to navigate together to succeed. That’s why we want this to be an interactive discussion where people share their ideas and insights centered around core ideas.
Special Interest Groups are for AMA Richmond Members only.
Note: We are limiting attendance to 15 people to help make the virtual round table more productive for everyone!
