Jason Roop

Jason is founder of the public relations and content marketing firm Springstory. He helps clients discover compelling stories within their organizations — and get their messages in front of the best audiences in the most effective ways.
A native of Luray, Jason is a University of Richmond graduate with a B.A. degree in journalism and political science, and served as adjunct faculty in its journalism department.
For more than 20 years, Jason worked as a journalist in Richmond, including 12 as editor in chief of the news publication Style Weekly. Through Springstory, he works with startups, nonprofits, government and business clients in the tech, energy, medical and entertainment industries.
