Director, Mentorship
Antonija Kovac, MBA
Antonija Kovac is a freelance professional in content marketing and storytelling. She graduated from the AMA Richmond Mentorship Program in 2019/20 and reinvented her career to accommodate her personal circumstances in Richmond. After being a volunteer with the communications team, she was asked to join the board as Director of AMA Mentorship Program because of her passion for the program and has since been a valued AMA Board Member. Parenting three children under ten, she spends most of her time observing, researching, applying, and writing about combining parenting and leadership skills to transform her overall personal effectiveness. The techniques she developed built her resilience and helped her family thrive through personal adversity and a year of total Covid-19 isolation. She is now committed to refine this research and help coach others.
Antonija has over fifteen years of work experience in multinational blue-chip corporations in Europe. She graduated from Vesalius College with a B.A. Business Economics, MBA from Solvay Business School at Vrije Universiteit Brussel. She was the recipient of Andre Bingen Senior Scholarship and Vesalius College Financial Aid. Antonija is proud of her humble beginnings in Croatia and is fluent in her native Croatian, English, and French. She spends her free time traveling, exploring, enjoying the outdoors, music, dancing, writing, and spending time with her three energetic daughters. She volunteers and serves as Parent Ambassador at Richmond Montessori School (RMS) and is a respected member of that community.
