Claudia
Clayton
— Managing Director and Owner of ViewPoint
Claudia currently serves as Managing Director and owner of ViewPoint,
a strategy and market intelligence consulting firm for services
businesses. Clients are F100 corporations and specialized
organizations that are the leading player in their respective niche
markets. Prior to founding ViewPoint, Claudia held senior management
positions as a Vice President at GE Capital and Citigroup in
business strategy, product development, technology initiatives, and
marketing for financial services and insurance. Claudia’s first
career was in direct marketing, and she helped to found the DMA of
Washington’s Central Virginia Chapter. The Society of Competitive
Intelligence Professionals honored Claudia with a Catalyst Award in
2007 and Claudia has served as the chair of the SCIP Education
Advisory Council. She has been a speaker at SCIP events and
workshops, the Society of Insurance Research 2009 conference and
will present at the upcoming 2009 Special Libraries Conference.
